Let's address the elephant in the room first: I owe everyone a huge apology for the recent unexpected downtime. I know service interruptions are frustrating, and I sincerely regret the disruption to your streams and giveaways.

However, the reason for the outage is frankly the best possible problem a developer could have: SpinStream has officially passed the 100-user mark!

I am absolutely thrilled and a little stunned that so many of you are using this tool I built. That sudden, amazing surge in traffic exposed some scale bugs I simply hadn't anticipated. It meant the entire backend needed a swift, substantial upgrade to keep things running smoothly.

Thank you for your patience and for breaking my server in the best way possible!

The Upgrade Brought New Features!

While I was deep in the server code, optimizing and stabilizing everything, I decided it was the perfect time to roll out a pretty awesome feature: More Drawing Styles!

SpinStream is no longer just a spin wheel. I'm excited to introduce the Raffle Bowl, giving you access to fun, dramatic, lottery-style drawings.

Three New Lottery Animations

The Raffle Bowl comes with three distinct animation modes to add flair and excitement to your giveaways. You can choose the style that fits your stream's vibe best:

Tornado: Watch the balls swirl into a powerful vortex. The winner is selected dramatically from the center while the others are pushed to the rim of the bowl.

Popcorn: The balls sit at the bottom, and then, upon spinning, they start to pop and bounce. As the animation settles, the single winning ball pops high above the rest.

UFO Tractor: The balls float mysteriously until the spin begins. They then start to lift toward the top of the bowl, where a winner is “captured” and zooms dramatically to the bottom of the screen.

Seamless Setup and Integration

I designed this feature to feel like a natural extension of your existing setup, not a clunky new menu.

Switching Modes: You can switch between the classic Spin Wheel and the new Raffle Bowl, as well as select your preferred animation, directly from the homepage right below the main Spin Wheel button.

Dashboard Integration: All your visual settings, the ball colors for the raffle and the animation duration, are automatically pulled from your existing Wheel Dashboard settings. There is no need to set up new colors or times; it just works!
